Abeer founded Los Angeles-based SYNTHESIS Inc. in 1998 and set out to design and build beautiful environments that fit seamlessly into the lifestyles of her clientele.

Prior to SYNTHESIS, Abeer was a designer at Di Cecco Architecture. There she honed the skills she would later call upon to run all aspects of her company. At heart, Abeer is an architect and interior designer. While her intimate knowledge of construction and structural engineering is certainly an advantage for clients, it's her innate ability to look at a potential project and see myriad possibilities that helped make SYNTHESIS the success it is today.

Abeer holds her Bachelors of Architecture from Woodbury University and has been teaching regularly at UCLA and various architecture and design schools since 1995.

Georgeanna 'George' Cheung
Designer and Project Manager

Georgeanna started at SYNTHESIS in 2003. In the ensuing five years, she has become a vital part of our design team.

Georgeanna earned a BS degree in Anthropology from the University of Chicago and a Certificate in Interior Design from the prestigious UCLA Architecture and Interior Design program.

Hailing from a small town outside Detroit, Michigan, Georgeanna spent her high school years at Cranbrook Kingswood, an educational community that is focused on academics, arts and athletics. When she's not creating a beautiful interior space, she spends much of her spare time finessing her culinary skills. Ask her about it sometime.

Jeff Kloss
Construction Partner

Jeff is a licensed general contractor, a full partner and our go-to guy for all things construction. Before he joined SYNTHESIS, Jeff managed large-scale institutional projects for CW Driver. His clients included The Cerritos Public Library, Jewish Home for the Aging, and the Torrance YMCA. He also oversaw multiple modernization projects for the La Crescenta Valley and El Segundo School Districts.

Prior to CW Driver, Jeff worked for the Marshall Group where he managed the construction of exclusive restaurants, high-end retail projects and custom homes here in Los Angeles. Clearly, he's no stranger to construction.

Jeff holds a Bachelors of Architecture from Woodbury University.
